Put it into practice: Length variations

8th June 2018

We’ve had a fantastic new playlist on the site this week from former South African no. 1 Jesse Engelbrecht.

In this great new collection of videos, Jesse takes an in-depth look at variation within your length and explains a simple concept of ‘4 zones’ on the front wall that helps you to hit the appropriate type of length at the appropriate time.

The aim of this article is to help identify the practices that will allow you to implement Jesse’s teaching points into your own game.

The front wall is a big space that often isn’t utilised to its full potential, and these videos should prove extremely useful to players of all standards and levels of experience to help them introduce a purposeful variation of length in their play, and allowing them to reap the rewards.

Try these sessions to practice hitting the different zones!
